Unique Window Systems have delivered a substantial fenestration package to Lionel House; a 14-storey, build-to-rent (BTR) scheme in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

The project comprises 259 high-quality managed apartments, broken down into 156 one-bedroom, 90 two-bedroom and 13 three-bedroom apartments. Unique specified, fabricated and installed the WarmCore system for the project which combines excellent performance with stunning aesthetics.

Other features of the Lionel House development include 11,250 square foot amenity space located to the ground floor, consisting of communal areas for residents which includes a fitness room and communal kitchen, a 17-space car park and cycle storage for every apartment. There are also breath-taking views that look over Birmingham from the development’s sky terrace.

It is the second BTR contract completed for Unique in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, and adds to the Leicester-based manufacturers significant expertise and experience in the BTR sector. The Lionel House development was particularly complex due to the tight site location of the scheme; demanding organised logistics and stringent planning.
