Award-winning fabricator of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling, Unique Window Systems is expanding its already comprehensive product offer.
From November 1st 2023, the business, which works with trade installers on a supply only basis and large commercial clients looking for a complete supply and fit solution, will offer a number of products from CORTIZO.
A vertically integrated Spanish manufacturer with nine production facilities and operations in over 31 countries, CORTIZO is respected around the world for the premium quality and aesthetic appeal of its range.
Three CORTIZO products will initially be available from Unique, all of which are ideally suited to both residential and commercial applications.
This includes the CORTIZO 4700 sliding door system. Designed for use across large, glazed areas, this system has a slim profile which provides maximum levels of natural light with minimum visual obstruction.
Available in a variety of configurations, including two, three, four and six-panels, the CORTIZO 4700 sliding door system has a sash weight capacity of up to 400kg and can accommodate glass thicknesses of up to 32mm. The different opening choices include one, two or three sliding sashes.
In addition, Unique will now supply CORTIZO bi-fold plus doors. Offered in a range of customisable designs and finishes, this system can be used to create stunning and functional entrances as well as to separate and unify different internal and external spaces.
It features an 80mm deep frame and a glazing capacity of up to 48mm. A slim central section of just 110mm again ensures a larger glazed area and increases the amount of natural light entering a building.
This system offers internal opening with up to 14 sashes and outward opening with 14 sashes and a 90º corner sash without a mullion.

Unique will also fabricate CORTIZO casement windows. This range of hinged windows offers either side hung or top hung outward opening. It also enjoys slim sightlines of just 65mm helping to optimise natural light levels as well as a thermal break zone of 32mm.
Aside from their remarkable aesthetics, all three CORTIZO systems now available from Unique offer equally attractive functional benefits.
This includes excellent acoustic performance, unlimited colour choices, impressive weathertightness and exceptional security. The three systems also contribute to greater energy efficiency offering Uw values of 1.1 W/m2K for the 4700 sliding doors, ≥ 0.8 W/m2K for the bi-fold plus doors and 1.0 W/m2K for the casement windows.
